BARRINGTON STUDENTS TO BE HONORED FOR FUND RAISING EFFORTS

The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio will award their first ever "Teal of Spotlight Award" to the fourth grade students of Barrington Elementary School who raised $22,000 at their "Beat Michigan! Beat Cancer! Racing to Beat Ovarian Cancer" 5K run and one-mile fun run.  The money raised was given to The Arthur G. James Center for Ovarian Cancer Research.  The students will be honored this Saturday, March 20th at the OCAO's "Spring Into Hope Gala" being held at Brookside Country Club.

The Barrington Elementary fourth graders were also honored earlier this year by receiving the City of Upper Arlington's 2009 Community Youth award.
